The Stourbridge Music Map was originally commissioned by Cllr Andrew Tromans to celebrate the town’s rich musical heritage and the venues, artists and stories that have shaped its music scene. The project was supported and funded by Pre Metro Operations Ltd, David Shepherd, and Direct 2 Print.

The artwork was first shared with the community as an A4 leaflet, and the response was incredibly positive. Many people connected with the map as both a celebration of Stourbridge’s musical past and a reminder of how vibrant the local music community continues to be today.

Due to this wonderful response, the artwork is now being released as a limited edition A3 print, allowing people to frame and display it in their homes as a lasting tribute to Stourbridge’s music culture.

In keeping with the original spirit of the project, £20 from every print sold will be donated to Dudley Performing Arts, helping to support young musicians and ensuring that music continues to thrive in the local community.

This print aims to carry forward the original vision of Cllr Andrew Tromans - celebrating Stourbridge’s musical identity while continuing to give something meaningful back to the community.
